Pen - Conklin Wood Grain

Number available: 1
$85.00

This is a vintage Conklin fountain pen from the 1920s in hard rubber with a beautiful wood grain pattern. Conklin called this finish mahogany and it is very similar to Watermans woodgrain and Wahls rosewood. This pen measures 5.25 inches long closed and 6.75 inches long with the cap on the other end. It has gold filled trim and a lever filler. The case is in very good condition - straight with no warp, cracks or bite marks, and no personalization either. The barrel imprint is very good and reads: Trademark Conklin Toledo Ohio USA Endura. I did not try to open the pen but I am sure that the bladder would need to be replaced and the nib which reads Conklin Endura is bent also.
