Here is Ferdinand's Ma! This cow was made by Brayton Laguna in 1939 for Walt Disney Enterprises. The character Ferdinand's Ma is from the Academy Award winning Disney film about the flower sniffing bull. She is the large size model and she measures 9 inches long by 5.5 inches high. There is an area on her lips where the glaze has chipped off and there is some crazing but otherwise she is in good with no chips or cracks. This rare piece is not marked but is shown in a brown color on page 21 of the book Disneyana Collectors Guide to California Pottery by Frick and Hodge.
