Match Holder - Inlaid Wood

Here is a unique wooden matchholder with inlaid wood in a herringbone pattern on the sides. It stands 6.5 inches tall and is 5.75 inches long by 4.5 inches deep. A bunch of wooden stick matches was loaded into the top and then you pulled the inlaid box upward. This positioned a match into the groove on the top and when you lowered the box there was one match waiting for you on top of the little upright pieces sticking out of the box. Very ingenious! It has a striking surface on the back side and it is not marked as to the maker.
