Here is a very neat Art Deco style tin with a picture of silent movie star Gloria Swanson on it. It was made by the American Can Company and marked Canco and BeauteBox on the bottom. The artist Henry Clive did a number of tins with pictures of the old movie stars on them and they probably originally held some kind of powder. This tin measures 4 inches wide by 1 and 5 eighths inches high and is in very good condition with only a few minor scratches and nicks in the paint on the side and edges.
