Here is a fabulous walnut early Renaissance style Victorian secretary with rounded front corners ca. 1860s. It has arched panels in the lower doors ornamented with high relief fruit and leaf carvings. The fall-front desk has ornately carved handles and the bookcase section has 3 shelves and arched glass doors. On the top is a architectural pediment with carved urn finial. This piece stands 7 foot 8 inches tall with the base section measuring 34 inches high, 50 inches wide and 19.5 inches deep and the bookcase section is 12 inches deep. The interior of the desk has pigeon holes, 3 small drawers and 2 hinged door compartments. Some one has put some ugly hinged on the little doors that would probably need to be changed. This piece was professionally refinish sometime in the distance past and is ready to go in your home.
